| Xin
Li, is currently working on UICNI initiated and Ford Foundation
funded Pilsen Project, actively involved in planning with
community youth project and the designing of a Mexican style
plaza. Born and raised in Shanghai, China, he got a bachelor's
degree in urban planning in Tongji University, Shanghai, China.
With the desire of experiencing different culture and life
style, he came to the country and UIC in Fall 2002 and started
to pursue his master's degree in urban planning policy. Besides
physical planning and urban design field, he is also very
interested in urban economic development and chose it as his
second specialization in the program. Xin enjoys being in
the Great City Institute and Neighborhood Initiative family
where he made a lot new friends and learned a lot from various
projects and symposia. |
