Project
Description
A center that sponsored visual arts classes based on traditional
Mexican themes. It Included sound studio workshops, recording
and mixing equipment for producing audio tapes. It also aided
in leveraging the community's cultural and artistic assets to
foster economic development, to provide training in the performing
arts and vocational training in arts management for community
youth, to create affordable community assembly space, and to develop
culturally based programs for children at the Center, designed
to increase self-awareness and self-esteem.
