From the Director…
Welcome to the Institute for Policy and Civic Engagement (IPCE) at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC). We like to think of ourselves as a ‘hub’ for individuals, communities, and organizations connecting with and learning about civic engagement at UIC, in Chicago, and across the country. The Institute's website holds information about our mission, programs, campus events, and research reports.
I also invite you to browse our web portal CivicSource.org, which is a rich resource of information on civic engagement drawn from a wide range of web-based sources. Whether you’d like to learn more about a particular policy issue, find out who your elected officials are, better understand how government should work, learn about upcoming events, or even discover how to renew your vehicle registration online, CivicSource.org has this information and much more.
To stay up to date on all Institute-related news, find us on Facebook or Twitter at uic_ipce or uic_civicsource. Thank you for visiting us.
