Title: "Youth Activism and the Resilient Community"

Professor McKay is an Assistant Professor in the Jane Addams College of Social Work. Her research examines the social construction of race, critical service learning, and youth activism.

She is the first speaker in IRRPP's multidisciplinary Race, Ethnicity, & Policy Brown Bag Series, which features works-in-progress by IRRPP award recipients, and is held the second Thursday of every month. RSVP to irrpp@uic.edu.
