MPA Alum, Terrance Moore to Speak on His Professional Experiences

Terrance Moore, UIC alumnus (MPA 1994), is the city manager of Las Cruces, New Mexico. Appointed as the city’s chief executive officer in 2005, Moore is one of the youngest city managers in the country. Moore will share his experience attending the Joint Civilian Orientation Conferences (JCOC) which was hosted by the United States European Command in the Fall of 2008. The JCOC is a Secretary of Defense sponsored program for America’s leaders interested in expanding their knowledge of the military and national defense.

In May 2006, Moore was honored by the Greater Chicago Chapter of the American Society for Public Administration with its annual Model Administrator/Outstanding Alumnus Award, via formal nomination by the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Urban Planning and Public Affairs.
