CUPPA Career Center Website
Information on employment opportunities, assistantships, internships and scholarships is available through the CUPPA Career Center website. This is a bluestem protected website for current CUPPA students and recent graduates. The website will be updated everyday, Monday through Friday. Postings will remain on the website for 30 days or until the closing date on the announcement. If you receive information that should be posted to the website on jobs, assistantships, internships or educational funding send this information to cuppa@uic.edu.

PA Annual Career Fair
Each spring, the PA Program invites representatives from organizations in the Chicago area who are recruiting for full- and part-time positions as well as internships. This is a great opportunity for students to secure a chance to gain meaningful experience in the field of public administration as well as to practice interviewing skills. More information

University of Illinois Alumni Association (UIAA)
The UIAA serves all program graduates in both social and professional ways. During the final year of the MPA program, every MPA student receives free collegiate membership in UIAA. This entitles members to all the privileges and benefits of alumni association membership prior to graduation and continues free of charge up to six months after graduation. Benefits related to placement offered by UIAA include access to a searchable database of more than half a million Illinois alumni including other PA and related degree alums. This powerful networking tool allows students to access alumni with information and assistance concerning career development, internship/externships, mentoring and a host of non-career related issues such as advice when moving to a new city.

Another service offered by UIAA is access to the Alumni Career Center, which provides individual and group career/life transition counseling. The center maintains an active liaison with employers so MPA alumni have the necessary tools to conduct successful employment and career management campaigns. Participants of the center also have access to an internal job bank, an e-Recruiting network, a resume referral program and a multitude of web links and job search tools.

CUPPA Alumni Association (CUPPAAA)
CUPPAAA offers educational and career development opportunities to alumni, students and faculty, organizes events and activities for networking, and encourages professional relationships. Links to alumni for civic engagement, employment opportunities, professional advice and direction, contacts with the real world, and educational direction and perspectives are extensive. Alumni Speaker Series
PASA (Public Administration Student Association) regularly organizes alumni panels to discuss careers and contemporary issues in PA. Information on upcoming alumni panels is distributed on the PA student listserv.
