The University of Illinois at Chicago assesses graduate tuition and fees on a range basis according to total number of semester hours taken, rather than on a per-course or per-credit-hour schedule, and whether or not the student is a resident of Illinois. All Public Administration courses, except the internship/project course, and many outside electives are 4 semester hours. Some outside electives are 3 hours.
