Associate Fund Manager, National Equity Fund, Inc.

The National Equity Fund, Inc. (NEF), the largest non-profit syndicator of low-income housing tax credits, is seeking an Associate Fund Manager of Investor Relations to ensure project pricing, project type, geographical preference and concentration goals are achieved; plan and implement strategies that will secure projects that meet investor guidelines and increase company’s market share in the low-income housing tax credit industry. Communicate with investors to establish investment parameters and prepare pipeline and project level summaries for investor’s approval process. Assist in the preparation of quarterly reports for single investor funds. Coordinate with funds management to ensure IRR targets for all NEF’s funds are met.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in business, finance or related field. MBA is a plus. Three to four years of progressive experience in low income housing tax credit or real estate investment. Experience with Excel, MS Word and Access. Candidate must possess excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills, along with strong financial negotiation skills. Ability to work well in a dynamic team environment.
