Professional Education (Prof Ed) is the continuing education office of the Great Cities Institute of the University of Illinois at Chicago. We are committed to providing top-level management and capacity education throughout the nonprofit, community development, and public service fields which work to improve the quality of life in urban, suburban, and rural settings throughout the world.

We create and deliver professional development courses in partnership with foundations, nonprofit organizations, consultants, and various UIC departments.

Registrations are now open for Successful Program Planning and Evaluation. This five-week online course teaches participants how to design strong programs with evaluation tools included from the onset, improving program reporting and outcome measurement. Participants will learn how to develop logic models and will gain a solid understanding of a variety of data collection methods.
