The Professional Education Difference

Professional Education (Prof Ed) has years of experience and successes in e-learning. We have delivered many programs created internally and via partnerships.

Success

Our successful programs speak for themselves. We have courses and programs going strong since 2000, which is a testament to the original quality of the curriculum as well as continued attention to updates in both data and delivery methods to keep current to meet students needs. Student evaluations and assessments back this up, to see what our students are saying about us, click here.

Experience

Every aspect of the course is staffed by experienced professionals who bring both education and practical components as needed. The Prof Ed team combines leaders in Instructional Design, Management, and Course Delivery to develop and maintain consistently high-quality professional development to our student base as well as our partner’s audiences.

Partnership

Prof Ed partnerships take many forms, to see our current and past partners, click here.

• Full Service - We team with groups both internal and outside the University to develop and deliver courses together combining our design team and internal resources with the partner’s content expertise. These courses are housed and managed at the University of Illinois at Chicago and delivered through long-term partnership.
• Design – we work with groups to help them design courses that they will deliver using their own resources. We provide Instructional Design, Assessment, and Course Revision advice to help get new programs up and running.
• Foundation / Grant Models – Prof Ed has worked with funders to deliver our courses to cohorts of students in distinct geographic regions and/or groups with similar goals. These cohorts provide multiple benefits as the students learn the curriculum while building partners for future endeavors.
• University Assistance – We are a great starting point for units that are just getting into e-learning. We can direct you to resources, provide training, and assist with design and delivery. Our experience is invaluable in reducing the learning curve and avoiding common pitfalls in new development.
