Values in Action
CUPPA's latest brochure, Values in Action, sets out our new mission statement and summarizes each of the seven CUPPA 2010 strategic plan core values in turn. In relation to each value the brochure profiles different members of the faculty and tells the story of CUPPA – who we are, what we do, and why we do it.
CUPPA in Short.
CUPPA's signature brochure will give you a fast rundown of the mission of CUPPA and our academic units and research centers.
CUPPA Magazine
- Previous Issues

Forty years of the Survey Research Lab. CUPPA Magazine interviews Sarah Baum of the Illinois Council on Developmental Disabilities -- "Data can change lives." Ten years of the Great Cities Winter Forum and the difference it has made to Chicago’s neighborhoods. Terrence Moore (MPA ’94) believes in the value of his Public Administration degree at UIC and proves it through his scholarship endowment. Alums from ’78 on tell us what they’re doing now.

CUPPA Magazine is published twice yearly by UIC’s College of Urban Planning and Public Affairs. Showcasing the research, education, alumni, students, and friends of CUPPA, each issue features one of the college’s research centers or academic programs. An in-depth interview with an alumnus from Public Administration or Urban Planning and Policy gives a case study example of how a CUPPA education has benefited not only the alum personally, but the communities in which we all live as well. Other regular departments of the magazine include Advancing CUPPA which looks specifically at CUPPA development and fund-raising, Research Center, Faculty, and Unit updates which look at current news and events of each, Class Notes and News which cover student news, alumni updates, and the CUPPA Alumni Association, and Perspectives which offers a unique way to look a particular issue or person affiliated with CUPPA.
