Mathematics For Manufacturing
(**revised 10/3/00) This workbook, written by Stacey Toscas and Ray Prendergast, is designed to provide a functional context for math instruction in the Bridge program. The worksheets should be most helpful to math teachers who are not fluent with manufacturing processes. Teachers can use these worksheets as a basis for developing additional practical math exercises that relate to industry practices.

Mathematics For Manufacturing Pre- and Post- Tests

(**revised 10/3/00) The pre-test will give both math and shop teachers a rough baseline of the student's ability to do practical shop math and to read simple prints. The post-test will gage the students' progress in shop math and blueprint reading. Note that this test is similar to screening exams given by some employers.

Advanced Technology Bridge Training Implementation Guide
(**new 6/1/00) This implementation guide walks you through step-by-step how to put together a Bridge program similar to the programs in Chicago and Detroit.
