Illinois GIS Association (ILGISA)
ILGISA membership is available to anyone who uses GIS technologies and/or is interested in pursuing a GIS career. Primarily working for government agencies, members include those who are in management positions, as well as those who hold more technical jobs. As a not-for-profit association, we strive to provide high quality, low cost programs which keep our membership informed and help them to continue to develop professionally.
Urban and Regional Information Systems Association (URISA)
URISA is a non-profit professional and educational association that promotes the effective and ethical use of spatial information and information technologies for the understanding and management of urban and regional systems. It is a multidisciplinary association where professionals from all parts of the spatial data community can come together and share concerns and ideas. URISA supports GISCorps, GIS professionals who provide short term, volunteer GIS services.
