Free ESRI Virtual Campus Courses

UIC students, faculty, and staff can sign up for free ESRI GIS Software Courses Online because of UIC's campus-wide site license with ESRI -- one of the principal producers of geographic information systems (GIS) software.

To see a listing of all ESRI Virtual Campus courses, go to the ESRI website and select Training > Find Training and search for courses.

(Not all ESRI courses are available to us for free but many are. Click here to see a list. For courses not on this list, you are eligible for a 40% education discount. The registration process should automatically recognize your education discount.)

Virtual Campus courses require that you have access to the internet; specific ESRI software to complete course exercises; and for some courses, a special ESRI Course Access Code. Course Access Codes expire one (1) year from the date of issue.

Here's how to request Virtual Campus course access codes. Note: Always use your @uic.edu email to register and request codes.
