Monitoring the Impact of Welfare Reform

Project Number: 442
Report Date:
Author(s):

The Work, Welfare, and Family Coalition and The Chicago Urban League requested that UICUED conduct a study designed to: 1) illuminate important welfare policy issues that may not be evident in state administrative data; and 2) help service providers become better advocates for effective welfare policies. The first objective was detailed in a report published in June, 1998, and the second objective will be documented in a report to be released in January, 1999.
