Discover UPA Discover the Urban and Public Affairs Undergraduate Program. | Welcome to the Urban and Public Affairs Undergraduate Program Using the Chicago metropolitan region as a home for investigation, our students experience and analyze urban issues from many different academic and practical perspectives. After students complete most of their general education and other liberal arts and sciences requirements, they will take an interdisciplinary curriculum offered jointly by the College or Urban Planning and Public Affairs’ two academic departments: the Urban Planning and Policy Department and the Public Administration Department. The Urban and Public Affairs major is a pre-professional program that prepares students to enter urban professions and graduate programs. Students will gain knowledge and understanding of the complexity and diversity of the urban environment as well as learn the policy and management processes that affect urban living. "Building knowledge that makes you a leader in finding solutions and effecting change in urban communities and public service." | AnnouncementsUPA APPLICATIONS ARE ACCEPTED ON A ROLLING BASIS.
