Ting Wei Zhang Ph.D., Associate Professor
Tingwei Zhang teaches urban planning skills, urban design and international planning at the University of Illinois at Chicago. He is the director of Asia and China Research Program in Great Cities Institute of College of Urban Planning and Public Affairs. His research interests cover urban development and policy issues in China, the US, and Southeast Asian nations, in addition to urban design. He has published several books and over 100 journal articles in the US, China and European countries. He serves as the founding president of International Association for China Planning (IACP) in the US, and member of several planning and architecture journals in China and the US.
