Q Is it necessary to be an ACSP or AESOP member to attend the conference?
A No. Come all!

Q How do I get a receipt for my registration fees?

A The on-line registration system will automatically email you a confirmation of your registration. Payment receipts will be enclosed in each attendee’s registration envelope on-site. If you must have something sooner, please contact kdd@acsp.org and we’ll fax it to you.

Q How do I reserve a data projector?
A Data projectors (LCD Projectors) are pre-set in every session room. However, you must bring your own laptop computer. Overhead projectors are also pre-set in each room serving as backup equipment in case your laptop fails you. Play it safe and bring overhead films of your presentation.

Q What if I don’t have a laptop?
A Borrow one from one of the very friendly folks at the conference. The Congress is not able to provide laptops.

Q What do I do if I lose my name badge?
A Got to the Congress Registration desk. Be patient and they will produce another.

Q What do I do if I lose my event tickets?
A The Congress Registration desk has record of your paid registration. They will put your name on a list and you will need to personally check with the attendant at the door of the event to let them know of your arrival.

Q Is the abstract submission fee deducted from the registration fee
?
A No. The abstract submission fee is a fee for the service of processing the more than 700 abstracts we accept via the Community of Science web site. This used to be an ACSP procedure, but has not been in effect since the year 2000.

Q Does my registration include a reception cruise ticket?
A All full registrations, except those for one-day practitioners include the opening reception.
There is an option for students only to register without a cruise ticket.
