Display at the Book Fair
Please accept our invitation to join us at the ACSP-AESOP Joint Congress July 6-11, 2008 in Chicago. The Congress is expected to attract more than 800 planning faculty, students and other scholars from planning programs in North America, Europe and beyond.
The Book Fair at the conference presents an excellent opportunity for self-published authors and publishers to display their wares and to speak with potential authors, readers and adopters.

Visibility (top)
We secure premium space for the Fair, as we are aware visibility is crucial to your success. We serve daily continental breakfast and snacks in the Fair area. The Job Fair, conference message center and Research Poster Display are also housed in or just outside the Fair. Cafe tables are set in the Fair drawing attendees to rest, meet friends and work on laptops during the long days of sessions.
Advertising (top)
Advertising is sold in the on-site conference program to extend your visibiity. We are also open to unique ideas to present your message, just give the Congress office a call (1-850-385-2054). We can even provide some creative ideas.
Attending in Person (top)
We believe you will find it useful to send a representative to speak with potential authors and adopters and to monitor the state of the planning field. Attending conference sessions is a free benefit of exhibiting at the Book Fair. Tickets for the Welcome Reception Cruise can also be purchased using the exhibit registration form.
Display Only (top)
If your company is unable to send a representative to staff your display, the Congress staff will collect your boxes shipped to the hotel and set up your books in the Fair area on your behalf. For the table fee plus a set up fee, the staff will set up and monitor the table for neatness and ease of viewing the materials. Send price flyers for attendees to pick up along with ordering information. The Congress staff will instruct attendees to contact you directly to place an order.
Self-Published Authors (top)
Authors without representation from a publishing house can display their books for a small fee per title. This is not an option for a publishing house wishing only to display one title. Order forms for purchase, and display copy of the book will be placed on a co-op table with other participating self-published authors.

Publisher's Travel Scholarships for Students (top)
Generous publishers have become accustomed to leaving books behind from their Fair participation allowing them to be used as a fundraiser when we sell them for 1/2 the retail price on the last morning of the Congress. All proceeds from the sale will be used for student travel scholarships. Thank you for helping bring them to the event. In many cases, students are future faculty and truly appreciate the Book Fair's offerings.
