Student Life at UPP
The Department strongly encourages all students to become involved with activities outside the classroom, as a way of enriching their education and beginning to build a network of professional contacts. One opportunity for involvement is through the two active student organizations, the Urban Planning and Policy Student Association (UPPSA), which is open to all students, and the PhD student organization, CUPPS.
Through the student organizations, students have a vehicle for providing input into the administration of the Department, through student representation in faculty meetings and on various Program committees.
