Visit Day for Prospective Students 4/4

UPP will be hosting a Visit Day for admitted students as well as those who've completed applications for the Fall 2014 semester. This is a great opportunity for those who are in the process of deciding if they will start the MUPP program in fall to learn more. Meet faculty, students, learn more about curriculum and student life, and enjoy opportunities to talk informally with students in the program. Click here for a draft agenda of the day's activities. RSVP's are required, click here to RSVP.

Fridays in UPP

On most Fridays, there's something happening midday in UPP. Friday Forum is an occasional lecture series focused on research in Urban Planning and Policy. UPP Next is a professional development series targeted to MUPP students. All events take place in Room 110 CUPPA Hall at noon, unless otherwise noted. Light lunch is served. Directions to UPP and travel information are at the bottom of the page. A full schedule is below the details of the next event.

UPP Next: Planning your Master's Project

UPP Next is an occasional series of career development events for MUPP students. The first event of fall semester will bring mentors from the CUPPA alumni and APA state chapter mentoring programs to campus to talk about the benefits of mentoring, introduce students to the two programs and provide information on how to participate.

On October 11, from 12-1 in Room 110 CUPPA Hall there will be a presentation on Planning your Masters Project with UPP faculty and recent alumni to discuss both the process and end product, with tips on how to manage the process, what to do/not to do, selection of topic, producing the final document, and how to make use of your completed project.
