Senior Transportation Planner, Toole Design Group
Toole Design Group, LLC, a small firm with a national reputation for excellence in transportation planning and design, is currently recruiting a Senior Planner for our office in the Washington, DC metro area. Our work includes a wide variety of projects at the local, state and national level -- including site planning and design projects; expert consultation with State DOT's on non-motorized transportation issues, federal program technical assistance (including the Federal Safe Routes to School Program), and a wide variety of master planning projects for local and regional governments throughout the U.S. Toole Design Group was recently profiled in Landscape Architecture Magazine for our innovative work in the area of bicycle and pedestrian planning and design.
A broad knowledge base in transportation planning is essential, and a specific knowledge of bicycle and pedestrian planning and design techniques is preferred. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 6 years of experience, be able to independently manage multiple consulting contracts and have strong writing and business development skills. Prior experience with a consulting firm is a plus. Salary range: $60,000 - $80,000, depending on qualifications.
