IT/ CAD/GIS Specialist, Toole Design Group
Toole Design Group is an exciting and growing consulting firm with a national reputation for excellence in transportation planning and design. We are currently recruiting an IT/ CAD/GIS specialist for our Hyattsville, MD office. Our work includes a wide variety of projects at the local, state and national level -- including roadway, trail, bikeway and pedestrian facility design; expert consultation with State DOT's on non-motorized transportation issues, federal research, and a wide variety of master planning projects for local and regional governments throughout the U.S.
The successful candidate will have a Bachelors or Associates Degree in Computer-Aided Design, computer science, geography, urban planning or related field, 4 years of hands on experience performing IT duties, using Computer Aided Design (CAD), experience creating high quality cartographic output, excellent oral and written communication skills. Experience in Geographical Information Systems (GIS), website management, GPS field data collection and graphics software experience is a plus. We are looking for individuals who are motivated, enjoy working in multi-disciplinary teams, and are self starters. Salary range: $45,000 - $65,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
