544 Advanced Craniofacial Anatomy, 3 hrs.
Functional and clinical aspects of head and neck anatomy based on detailed
laboratory dissection, original readings, and project work.

400 Biostatistics I, 3 hrs.
Descriptive statistics, basic probability concepts, one- and two-sample
statistical inference, analysis of variance, non-parametric methods,
inference for categorical data, and simple linear regression. Introduction
to a statistical computer package such as SAS.

613 Drugs in Dentistry, 1 hr.
Detailed consideration of the need, use and prescription of drugs in
dental practice. Drug interactions and modes of action of commonly prescribed
and locally used therapeutic agents are stressed.

Detailed consideration of the diagnosis, treatment planning and treatment
of a variety of temporomandibular disorders.

of facial bones, salivary glands, and hematologic and lymphoreticular

construction. Laboratory and clinical experience is obtained with concurrent
