The Asian American Mentor Program is currently recruiting for Peer Mentors for the 2012-2013 academic year! Information Sessions about AAMP and the application process are scheduled for:

Interested in becoming an AAMP Peer Mentor? Attend our AAMP Information Session and learn how you can apply! We plan to recruit 24 mentors to work with new student mentees. AAMP Faculty Staff Mixer

You will have the opportunity to mix and mingle to Asian American professors, UIC staff and AAMP mentors in a fun and casual setting outside of the classrooms. Event if you need to leave early for class and can only join us for part of the event, drop by anyway! FREE lunch and dessert will be provided.
AAMP Registration Workshop

Now that midterms are done, we invite you all to attend AAMP's Registration Workshop. Mentors will be teaching mentees how to register for classes online and go over the following topics: searching for a course/professor/subject, adding/dropping/switching between classes, important deadlines to consider and tips on choosing professors and buying/selling textbooks.

Join us for lunch at AARCC! Staff and mentors will be present so bring a bagged lunch and drop by the office for some good, old-fashioned mid-day fun. The days will rotate each week with the following dates scheduled: September 30, October 5, 11, 20 and 29, November 5, 11, 17, 23 and 29.
