IMAP download of mailboxes

If you have received a notice about termination of ACCC services, consider making a transition to another e-mail and network storage provider as soon as possible. You will have more time to weigh your options and ask us any questions you might have. This page is in beta.

• Mozilla Thunderbird
• Apple Mail
• Microsoft Outlook
• Eudora

If you haven't configured Thunderbird already, please check the configuration instructions for UIC e-mail accounts and IMAP.

• If you configured Thunderbird correctly and still don't certain mailboxes, click File and Subscribe... and be sure you are subscribed to the mailboxes you want to see (you should not be subscribed to Trash, however).
• For IMAP folders other than the Inbox, Drafts, Sent and Trash, select the folder and drag and drop it in the Local Folders.

• The Inbox, Drafts, Sent and Trash folders cannot be dragged and dropped because they already exist in Local Folders. To back up these messages, you will need to open the appropriate mailbox on the server side and select all messages. Next, right-click on the selected messages (or click on Message in the top menubar) and select Move To, then Local Folders and then the appropriate folder.
