A side benefit of this upgrade is that the ADSM-2 server is now capable of backing up Microsoft Windows 8 and Apple Mac OSX 10.8 "Mountain Lion", if you use the new Version 6.4 client program. (The ADSM-4 server was already capable of that.)

Starting on 12/22 @ noon, we will be begin upgrading our woozle/adsm-2 ADSM backup system from TSM v5.5 to TSM v6.2. This will involve about 2-3 days of downtime, during which there will be no backups and no restores available for clients serviced by this host.
