ACCC - ACME Program --
FAQ
The ACCC Computer Management for Everyone Program
--Under Construction --
The ACCC is actively supporting the effort to keep UIC at the forefront
of technology's use in education. We are aware that, in order
to keep UIC competitive, its faculty needs access to the resources to
support this endeavor.
The ACCC working with both Lenovo and Apple have made available the latest in academic computing technology. The
goal of the ACME program is to provide that technology to UIC departments, Faculty, and staff. We have created
pre-configured Windows PCs and Apple PCs, which include a UIC designed image and for a minimal yearly $200 fee;
ACCC onsite hardware and software support for your purchased computers.
ACME is available to any department, faculty or staff or any person
approved by their dept for an ACME computer. ACME recipients must have a UIC NetID and UIC email account to participate.
