| MeetingMaker upgrade complete | ||

Sep 30 2002 - The MeetingMaker upgrade to version 7.2.1 is complete and was uneventful. Users should now be able to use the auto-upgrade feature to update their clients, or they can download the installer from our support site, where complete upgrade instructions are posted as well. In managed environments, Tech support staff with admin privileges for the PC needs to do the upgrade, particularly where Palm synchronization with Meetingmaker is used. --Volker Kleinschmidt

| Meeting Maker Upgrade - Saturday, September 28 | ||

Sep 28 2002 - The ACCC Meeting Maker server will be upgraded to Version 7.1 on Saturday, September 28.The server will be unavailable during the upgrade. Detailed upgrade instructions will soon be on our support site at http://www.accc.uic.edu/mmxp. When connecting to the updated Meeting Maker server for the first time (probably on Monday, 9/30), you will be prompted to upgrade your Meeting Maker client, and to download a new version of your calendaring data; as on previous upgrades, this is very straight forward and takes less than five (5) minutes. Windows users: Windows 95 is no longer officially supported, however it will probably still work fine if you have the latest TCP components installed. Mac users: Mac OS 9 and Mac OS X are fully supported. Mac OS 8.x will need to upgrade at least to Mac OS 8.6 with CarbonLib 1.4, and printing of Meeting Maker calendaring data is not supported on Mac OS 8.x. | ADSM down today | ||

Sep 24 2002 - The ADSM backup service (and the entire computer that hosts it) will be down for several hours starting at 11:45AM today to repair a broken tape drive. Everything should be back to normal well in advance of the start of the automated scheduler backups late this afternoon.
