Feb 27 2006 - Listserv will be down from 5:30pm to 6:30pm on monday 2/27 for an operating system upgrade.

Feb 25 2006 - Blackboard will be down for emergency maintenance on Sat. Feb. 25 from 2:00 AM to 6:00 AM. We will be repairing disks used for database backup.

Feb 25 2006 - One of the back-end IMAP servers for mailserv will be down Sunday morning (2/26) from 12:01am until 8am for extensive reconfiguration. About 1 in 8 mailserv users will be unable to access their mail during this period.

Feb 22 2006 - Blackboard will be down for maintenance on Wed. Feb. 22 from 3:00 AM to 6:00 AM. We will be upgrading storage for database and files.

Feb 15 2006 - ACCC is again offering the free ACCCeSS Helpdesk to all students, faculty and staff. Stop by any of the 3 locations to receive support for Res-Net, UIC-Wireless and UNAS-related access issues.

Until further notice, the hours of availability are:

• Monday, 12-5 PM, South Campus, TBH 181 (near the laundry area)
• Tuesday & Wednesday, East Campus, 12-5 PM SRC LRC (below the Atrium)
• Thursday, West Campus, 12-5 PM, SRH LRC (Room 203, next to the staircase)

Assistance for adware, spyware, virus and worm removal is provided, as is assistance with Symantec Antivirus, Spybot, and the Odyssey client. ACCCeSS staff have the expertise and toolsets to provide the necessary support to get your machine on the network.

We look forward to servicing your needs in these locations. Note: the Client Services Office (2267 SEL) will refer clients to the ACCCeSS helpdesk and can not provide the same level of support.

Feb 08 2006 - Icarus will be rebooted at 6pm this Wednesday (2/8) to upgrade its network connection. Icarus will return to service by 7pm.
