| UICAL - file server fixed - database backup and check | ||
|
Apr 26 2006 - Network Appliance replaced several NVRAM cards and the file server is up again. We are now running a backup of the UICalendar database. When that is finished, we'll run a database consistency check/fix tool to insure against any database corruption. At this point we're hoping to have UICalendar up and running by 1pm. |

- The Network Appliance technician replaced several NVRAM cards by 11:30 am, but later we found that the technician had not removed a protective label which was preventing the NVRAM batteries from re-charging. So, we had to stop the file server and re-open it, resulting in an additional hour of delay. |
