Jun 27 2006 - Our system for updating DNS failed in a new way. We've restored configuration files from backups, and have temporarily disabled any new updates until we can fix the underlying system and improve the safeguards that try to prevent such failures.

So service is now restored, and we'll update with new config files when we're sure at least this failure mode won't happen again.

Jun 26 2006 - The Academic Computing and Communications Center, Client Services Office is hiring for Fall Semester. We are looking for motivated, hard-working undergraduate students to manage our lab facilities and provide customer and technical support to the UIC community.
