tigger Email Inbox Quotas Doubled

May 29 2007 - As a result of the move to larger disks over Memorial Day weekend, we have now doubled everybody's tigger email inbox quota. The new default quota for tigger inboxes is 50 megabytes.

This is NOT your homedir quota, which is separate and has not changed.

You can see your new quotas by using the "quota" command in a tigger session. It will not show up in mailtools yet, until we fix mailtools to be compatible with the new quota system.

This only applies to those who receive their email on tigger. It does not apply to icarus, or to mailserv which already had higher quotas.

Update: Tigger down until 10PM Sat 5/26

May 26 2007 - Uptime revised to 10PM Sat 5/26

tigger down until 6PM Sat 5/26

May 26 2007 - The tigger server is down until 6PM Saturday May 26 to move the mail spool to newer, faster, larger disks. All incoming mail will be safely queued.
