ITL Brown Bag Lunch Webcasts Brown Bag Lunch Webcasts is a series of short, one-hour long Webcasts, scheduled from noon to 1pm, by the ACCC Instructional Technology Lab at the University of Illinois at Chicago.

The purpose of the Brown Bag Lunch Webcast Series is twofold:

1. To inspire UIC faculty to make use of itlTV technology to facilitate interactive live multimedia and on-demand presentations over the Internet, and
   
2. To use itlTV facilities to deliver seminars, presentations, panel discussions and faculty/staff development content to the desktops of UIC faculty and staff members.

Bring your lunch to work, and join us at CCC, or eat it in your office, while watching or listening to an hour-long Webcast on the use of computer technology in education and other interesting topics.

What do you need to join a Webcast

• Networking requirements: a campus-quality hard-wired Ethernet connection or better. Typically, cable modem, DSL, 802.11 wireless LAN, DirectPC or DirectDuo broadband Internet connections would work as well.
  
• To view a live Webcast or an on-demand Webcast archive, your browser needs RealPlayer 8 or higher. If you don't have it, please download it now from RealNetworks: www.real.com/products/player
  
• To interact during a live Webcast, ask questions, send comments, and so forth, send email to itltv@uic.edu, or run AOL Instant Messenger or Microsoft Messenger and send your questions or comments to the screen name itltv.
