The upgrade to Blackboard 6 is complete! There are a few new important changes that have been made.

1 - All accounts that previously had a "-ci" (or any "-suffix") appended to the end of them has now been changed. In addition, any user that had a username that did not match a valid UIC netid has now been changed; these accounts now have a suffix of "-ext". For example, a person who formerly logged in using jsmith-ci will now login using jsmith-ext. This change was required due to pending system integration projects on campus.

2 - For the time being you can no longer "Create New Users". During this transition period if you need to have a new user create please send an e-mail message to blackboard@uic.edu.

3 - To change your password you must now use the ACCC Common Password changing utility on-line at http://passwords.accc.uic.edu .
