3. Logging In

Every user of the WebBoard system has an individual login and password. Once you are connected to the system, a login window will appear. 

Your WebBoard user name is the same as your UIC NetID (i.e. the login ID you use to log in to icarus or tigger ). Your initial password is normally the NetID as well (otherwise your instructor will tell you what your initial WebBoard password is). It is NOT related to your password on icarus or tigger , as we have no way of knowing that! It is strongly recommended that you change your password the first time you log into WebBoard. Refer to Section V for more information on changing your password .

Use the following steps to log in:

• In the field labeled User Name, enter your NetID.
• Navigate to the Password field using either the mouse or the Tab key and enter your password.
• Click OK or press Enter.
• Once inside, the Welcome screen of your class WebBoard will look like this:
