1. Introduction

The instructor of a course using WebBoard is in charge of managing the board. Other faculty or staff may also be given board manager privileges upon email-request to webboard@uic.edu by the instructor. This can be particularly helpful for less experienced faculty sharing the administration with a more experienced user. It is not possible for a board manager to grant others manager-privileges himself.

To learn the basic functionality of WebBoard, refer to the UIC WebBoard Online User's Guide or to WebBoard's online help, accessible via the HELP button. Here, in this guide, we will concentrate exclusively on the options accessible to managers in addition to the options a general user has. All of them are accessible from the Manager Menu, which is reached by clicking the MORE button and then the Manager link:
