X. Logging Out

To log out of WebBoard, you need to quit your Web browser. You need to completely Quit or Exit your browser. This is particularly important if you are working in a public computer lab.

There you also must log out of the Novell Network by double-clicking the icon on the desktop. Otherwise, others have access to your account and can destroy your data! Do NOT reboot the computer, though!

To quit WebBoard, choose

• File and Exit from the Netscape menu.
• File and Close from the MSIE menu.

Or simply click the close box at the top right corner of your window.

For Macintosh users, the close box is at the top left corner, but this does not actually quit your browser! It just closes the window. To quit the browser, type Command-q (hold down and type q) or select Quit from the File menu.
