Renewing ADDA Software Licenses

Step 1 - Map the N:\ Drive

The N drive needs to be mapped first, regardless of which software you wish to renew. Launch ADDA.exe, log in, and close it after the N drive is mapped. If you do not have ADDA.exe on your computer, you can download it here:

Step 2 - Software-specific Instructions

SAS 9.1.3
The most recent SAS 9.1.3 license file can be found at the following location:

N:\SASServer\9.1.3_SP4\sid.txt

Use the SAS license renewal tool to apply the license file to your installation. The tool is installed with SAS and can be found here:

Start -> Programs -> SAS -> SAS 9.1 Utilities -> Renew SAS Software

If the renewal tool does not work properly when the file on the N drive is specified, please copy the license file from the N drive to a local drive on your computer, then point the license renewal tool to that copied file.
SAS 9.2
The most recent SAS 9.2 license file can be found at the following location:

N:\SASServer\9.2\sid_files\SAS92_343235_70009211_Win_Wrkstn.txt

Use the SAS license renewal tool to apply the license file to your installation. The tool is installed with SAS and can be found here:

Start -> Programs -> SAS -> SAS 9.2 License Renewal & Utilities -> Renew SAS Software

If the renewal tool does not work properly when the file on the N drive is specified, please copy the license file from the N drive to a local drive on your computer, then point the license renewal tool to that copied file.
SPSS-PASW 18
The most recent SPSS-PASW 18 license code can be found at the following location:

N:\SPSS-PASW18\LicenseInfo.txt

Use the license code contained within that file to renew your software with the PASW Statistics license authorization wizard. This tool is installed with PASW Statistics 18 and can be found here:

Start -> Programs -> SPSS Inc -> PASW Statistics 18 -> PASW Statistics 18 License Authorization Wizard
SPSS 19
The most recent SPSS 19 license code can be found at the following location:

N:\SPSS19\LicenseInfo.txt

Use the license code contained within that file to renew your software with the IBM SPSS Statistics license authorization wizard. This tool is installed with SPSS 19 and can be found here:

Start -> Programs -> IBM SPSS Statistics -> IBM SPSS Statistics 19 License Authorization Wizard
