As usual, the Academic Computing and Communications Center is giving a series of seminars on computer-related
topics this fall. New this year is a group of seminars on the Internet and the
World Wide Web. If you're curious about just what's out there, or if you want
to publish your own Web page (and anyone at UIC can), you'll want to check out
these seminars.
Many of the Computer Center's seminars (including the ones on the Internet)
provide hands-on experience. The seminars are generally held in two locations:
Room 2249 SEL, 950 South Halsted, and Room 179 BGRC, 1940 West Taylor.
Any member of the UIC community may attend these seminars. No registration
is necessary, and there is no charge for them. The following seminars are
