Both office suites offer (or will offer) the choice of a local or network install. Local installs avoid the problems of network-based shared folders, but they also require a lot more space on your local hard drive. (488 MB local vs. 205 MB network for WordPerfect Office; 240 MB vs. 60 MB for Microsoft Office.) |
