Creating PDF Files
2
 |
Use PDFwriter
when
- simplicity and speed matters most
- you are in the ACCC public labs
Use Distiller
when
- you are using PDFmaker
in MS Word 97/2000
- you have already configured distiller's job
options
- quality graphics are needed, especially with
.eps files
- you need more control over the output
- you want to simply convert an existing PostScript
file
Use Distiller
3 on the Web when
- you don't have access to the full Acrobat
program
- you are away from your computer, but have
a PostScript
printer driver installed on the system or
can add one
- you won't need to edit the PDF file afterwards
