Creating PDF Files 2

Use PDFwriter when

• simplicity and speed matters most
• you are in the ACCC public labs

Use Distiller when

• you are using PDFmaker in MS Word 97/2000
• you have already configured distiller's job options
• quality graphics are needed, especially with .eps files
• you need more control over the output
• you want to simply convert an existing PostScript file

Use Distiller 3 on the Web when

• you don't have access to the full Acrobat program
• you are away from your computer, but have a PostScript printer driver installed on the system or can add one
• you won't need to edit the PDF file afterwards
