Hyperlinks
and Anchors
In order
for someone to move from your current Web page to another,
you must install clickable areas on your page called hyperlinks.
These can then allow a person to go to another page in the
same Web directory, a different Web site, or even another
section on the same page.
To create
a hyperlink, highlight the text or click on the image that
will become a hyperlink. You can then either type the name
of the file (or URL) that should be linked into the link box
of the Property Inspector. You can also use the folder icon
to the right of the link box.

Another
possibility is to use the crosshair target logo next to the
link box. By dragging this to the file to which you will link,
you can establish your hyperlink that way. <Click

Anchors
In order
to link to other spots on the same page, you must first mark
those locations by inserting an anchor. You can then create
a hyperlink that goes directly to that anchor.
To insert
an anchor, click your mouse where the anchor should go and
choose the Insert|Named Anchor menu. (You can also use [ALT]+[CTRL]+[A])
 |
You
then give the anchor a name, preferably all lowercase
letters and no spaces. Here is what the anchor will look
like in your page. |

At this
point, you can then highlight your text and type the name
of the anchor, preceded by the # symbol, into the Link box
in the Property Inspector. You can also drag with the crosshair
tool. <Click
