Lines & Special Characters

Adding a horizontal rule is a line that goes across the page and provides a visual division between sections of your page.To add a horizontal line: On the objects panel, drag a horizontal rule to the very bottom of the document, or choose Insert|Horizontal Rule.

In the Property Inspector, type 90 in the width text box. Select % form the pop-up menu to the right of the text you just typed. This will create a line that extends 90% of the browser window. Change the height of the bar in the field marked "H". Selecting or deselecting the Shading option to see other styles.

Adding Special Characters

Objects Toolbar changed to Character set In the Objects Panel, click & hold on the black triangle near the top of the panel. See the drop-down menu that is available. Select Character. This will turn the Objects Panel into a panel of Special Characters. Select any character and drag a character over to your text.
One of the last options for you to choose in the Characters Panel is the "Other" button- see the lower-right hand button. By selecting this button, a larger menu of characters is available to you. Select the character that you want to inset into your text & choose OK.
