If you have messages that you no longer need, you can drag them into the Trash folder in your Navigation Window. You can also click on the message and hit the [DELETE] key on your keyboard.
Deleting messages using
Eudora with IMAP is a little more tricky. When you transfer a message to the
Trash folder or hit the [DELETE] key, the message will not be taken out of the
Inbox. Rather, it will be given a red "X," indicating it is marked
for deletion. To delete the message PERMANENTLY, you must click on the Purge
button.![]()
