Managing Your Email-Signature Files

Typically, you want to write your name and possibly your email address at the bottom of every message you send. The Signature Tab on the Navigation Window allows you to create a text file that is appended to the bottom of every message that you send.

This is a listing of signature files. To create a new one, simply right-click the Navigation Window and choose New. Once you have written it, you can close it, giving it a name when prompted by Eudora

For courtesy, a signature file should have three dashes in it's first line to distinguish it from the rest of the message. You should also limit your signature file to no more than 3-4 lines after the dashes. You can put whatever information you see fit, such as your name, email address, department, or a personal Web page.

This is a good example of a standard signature file

Of course, many people customize their signature file to be a little more fun.
