Sorting
Records in an Excel Database 
When you
click on any cell in a list, Excel can recognize the list
and sort it based on which column you click. The Sort Ascending
and Sort Descending buttons can then be used to sort the records
any way you wish. As a rule, numbers are sorted ahead of text
if the column in question is mixed. <Click

If
you want more control over the sort or sort by multiple
columns, you can use the Data|Sort menu to different kinds
of sorts. |
