Charting in Excel 2000

Charting II-Chart Source Data

In this section, you can select or modify the range that contains the data for the chart. You can also decide whether your row headings will be the series or your column headings will be the series. In the above example, the row headings (Central, Eastern, Southern, and Western) are the four different types of bars used in the chart. Each set of bars is assigned a color and designated at the right side of the chart by the LEGEND. This step also allows you to edit the different sets of data in the chart with the Series tab at the top of the dialog box.
