Resizing Rows and Columns

If the text in a column is too wide for the size of the size of the column, it will be truncated, while numbers will appear with a series of #######. You can resize columns (or rows) by clicking-and-dragging to the right of the column heading (or below the row heading). If you double-click, the column (or row) will automatically be resized to fit the widest entry.

Please note:

  • You can also resize columns (or rows) by going to the Format menu
  • If you wish to resize more than one column (or row) at a time, you must highlight them first
  • If you change the font of a cell to a different size, the height of the row will adjust automatically
  • When you resize a column (or row), you are resizing the ENTIRE column. You CANNOT adjust the width of only certain cells
