What is DHTML good for?
     
  good for developing dynamic Web pages
     
  it offers plug-in free animations
     
  facilitates Web page three-dimensional layering
   

  provides tight control of any hypermedia content
     
  allows for special effects and on-the-fly Web page changes
 

 

  makes it easier to author consistent Web content
   
  exploits client computer processing power (saves server trips)
   
  offers HTML extensibility via <XML>/<XSL> applications, like <XHTML>, <SMIL>, <MathML> and <SVG> (scalable vector graphics) W3C standards
